Woodall Homes & The Consumer Code for Home Builders
At Woodall Homes, we are delighted that our homes are protected by the Consumer Code for Home Builders
The Consumer Code for Home Builders was developed by the home-building industry to make the home-buying process fairer and more transparent for buyers. The Code is designed to help buyers understand the levels of service you can expect from us at Woodall Homes and feel fully informed about their purchase and consumer rights before and after they move in.
How Does The Code Protect Home Buyers?
In the unlikely event that problems arise, a speedy, free dispute resolution scheme is available to deal with complaints about breaches of the Code.
We always aim to deliver high-quality homes and offer excellent customer service, but sometimes during your home moving journey, a problem may arise. If you have a concern with our service or Woodall Homes, please contact our team, who will be able to help you.
If you are not satisfied that our team has resolved your issue, you then have the option to follow up through the formal complaints process detailed below.
Formal Complaints
If your issue has not been resolved, then you are able to raise a formal complaint based on one of the following points.
- Woodall Homes failed to do something we should have done.
- You are unsatisfied with how something has been completed.
- You feel you have been treated unfairly or discourteously.
- If an issue or concern you raised has not been resolved or progressed within a reasonable time frame.
Following a formal complaint, please let us know to give us the opportunity to review, and come back to you with a decision. Our internal processes ensure your complaint is investigated thoroughly and a resolution will be achieved should it be deemed that the issue is Woodall Homes’ responsibility.
Unhappy with the outcome of your complaint?
If you are unhappy with the outcome of your complaint, you may be able to seek an independent review. Referrals for independent review can only be made after 56 calendar days have passed since first raising it with Woodall Homes and no later than 12 months after our final response. If you are unhappy with how we have dealt with your complaint, you may refer the matter to the 10 year warrenty provider in the first instance. If appropriate, they might refer you to the Consumer Code for Home Builders (www.consumercode.co.uk) who run an Independent Dispute Resolution Scheme (IDRS).
The IDRS will follow an adjudication process. This is entirely independent and will consider the evidence provided by the customer and the house builder to reach a decision. You are covered by the Consumer Code for Home Builders:
