As coronavirus lockdown restrictions ease and the world begins to get back to some form of normality, it’s becoming more apparent than ever that our home and lifestyle priorities have changed.

The attraction of living in the busy, crowded, and claustrophobic conditions of super-cities like London is diminishing, with a desire for a more open-plan way of life increasing by the day.

Naturally, as a company and as individuals with roots in the north Derbyshire region, we’re always looking to champion our local area and its people.

With country walks, parks, and outdoor activities currently the focal point of our social lives, there has never been a greater need for access to green space – and even after the UK has fully reopened, we don’t see that desire disappearing any time soon.

With that in mind, properties in north Derbyshire have access to hundreds of square miles of beautiful open countryside. Many are located within the Peak District National Park; most are situated just a few minutes’ drive away from it.

It’s worth noting as well that the Bolsover district enjoys a population density of just 496 per square kilometre, making it much easier to keep your distance.

For those in need of a quick dash southwards, the M1 runs through the heart of the region. It’s far enough away from the majority of towns and villages not to be a noisy nuisance, but close enough to put London just a few hours’ drive away.

One of the best things about all Woodall homes is that all feature private landscaped gardens – perfect for hosting a summer BBQ, or even just for spending a quiet afternoon sunbathing.

Also, contemporary styling is high on the list of priorities for home movers at the moment. Given that we’re always in tune with what people want from their homes, a modern, flexible, and high-quality finish is the least you can expect from our properties.

Take Plot 9 The Rosedene at our Scarsdale Green site, for example – with 1,328 sq ft of accommodation including a stunning south-facing landscaped garden, and it’s the ideal home for growing families who do not want to compromise on comfort, quality or luxury.

The Rosedene is just one of the great homes currently available in a fabulous part of the world – visit our website to see what else is available in picturesque towns and villages such as Brimington, Bolsover, Chesterfield, and Long Duckmanton.
