One of Nottinghamshire’s most remarkable historic farmsteads has welcomed dozens of visitors following the launch of our new show home at The Old Farmstead in Bulcote.
A Busy Launch Weekend
Around 50 prospective buyers visited the development over the launch event, held from 9th to 12th July, in glorious summer weather. The four days gave viewers the first opportunity to explore the start of the transformation of the former Grade II Listed model farm into an exceptional new residential community.
The show home generated strong interest, with our team reporting a busy weekend of enquiries and a number of follow-up appointments now booked. Those looking to reserve a home at The Old Farmstead are encouraged to arrange a visit to experience everything it has to offer.
Heritage Meets Modern Living
Set within the idyllic village of Bulcote, the development is unlike any other new homes in the region. Rather than replacing the site’s rich history, we have carefully preserved it, breathing new life into a collection of original farm buildings while introducing thoughtfully designed contemporary homes that complement their historic surroundings.
Former stables, piggeries, barns and the original gatehouse are all being sensitively restored as part of the development’s Heritage Collection, preserving the architectural character that has defined the farm for generations. Alongside these conversions, the Contemporary Collection introduces beautifully crafted new homes that sit comfortably within the historic setting, creating a neighbourhood where heritage and modern living coexist.
The Barleycroft Steals the Show
At the heart of the launch was The Barleycroft, a stunning five-bedroom detached show home, allowing guests to see first-hand the superb craftsmanship and premium specification that come as standard with every one of our homes — with a cold beverage in hand!
