Investment in people is a crucial part of our company ethos here at Woodall Homes, and our team enjoyed time in a slightly different ‘wok’ environment after taking part in a fun-filled cookery school in London.
Members of the Woodall team headed for the capital with our trusted supplier, MKM Building Supplies, to visit Jeremy Pang’s renowned ‘School of Wok’ in Covent Garden.
The Woodall and MKM teams learnt how to cook different dishes from around the world, sharpened their wok skills and then went head-to-head in teams to see who could cook the best dish.
Our Finance Director Martin Bruno and his ‘Hot Wok in the Kitchen’ team came out on top after their chopping skills, speed and efficiency were judged as the best by School of Wok’s chef.
Managing Director, Dave Wood, said: “It’s great to see the fun our team had at the School of Wok challenge and was brilliant to take part with one of our valued partners, MKM Building Supplies.
“Special thanks go to MKM for arranging the activity. Investing in people is important to us at Woodall, it’s crucial to ensure staff spend time away from the office together to develop relationships, learn about each other and also have a bit of fun!”
