A new road at the Woodall Homes Scarsdale Green development in Chesterfield has been named in honour of the Site Manager who worked at the business for 16 years.
The tribute recognises Michael Wood, who sadly passed away in August 2019 aged 48.
Dave Wood, brother of Michael and Managing Director of Woodall Homes, has named the road at the new Scarsdale Green site, Michaelwood Way in remembrance of Michael and the incredible work he did for the business.
Dave Wood, Managing Director of Woodall Homes, said:
“Michael was a well-loved brother, father, son, friend and colleague who was a huge part of the Woodall Homes team – always going above and beyond to support the development of the region.
“Michael touched the lives of so many and he will be remembered by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
“By naming the new road ‘Michaelwood Way’ we are helping Michael’s memory live on.”
The Scarsdale Green development includes a variety of house types including; The Claydon, The Lindisfarne, The Kingston, The Rosedene, The Beal, The Sudbury and the Buckingham.
