We are delighted to share that Scott Bennett has been named the winner of the Bricklaying Apprentice of the Year.
Awarded by Chesterfield College, the Bricklaying Apprentice of the Year award acknowledges Scott’s hard work in learning the trade, and it is a fantastic achievement to be identified as the top-performing apprentice amongst everyone currently training through Chesterfield College.
On his award, Scott said: I’m really proud to have won this award after my time with Woodall Homes. I have really enjoyed being on an apprenticeship here, and I can’t thank the team enough for their help so far. I’m looking forward to continuing my work with the team and improving my skills even further.”
Our Managing Director, Dave Wood, said: “Scott has been a part of the Woodall Homes team since August 2023 and it has been fantastic to see his skills develop as he works alongside our team at our Oakham Grange development.
“At Woodall Homes, we are committed to providing opportunities for young people to enter the world of property and construction, and we currently have two apprentices working with us across our sites.
“It’s fantastic to see young people, like Scott, taking an interest in the sector and achieving amazing results, and we are always open to hearing from young people who are thinking about following the apprenticeship pathway after they leave school.
